Joel needed a website to explain his journey and show what his priorities were for his new run for office for City Commissioner.

Joel had a general summary of his story, but he needed some help creating a compelling introductory section of his website that explained what he had gone through.

Create Social Media Images

Joel also needed some updated Facebook graphics for his profile banner and icon photo.

PROCESS

Joel was once Ocoee’s City Commissioner. After he lost a run for reelection, he faced many personal struggles, including fighting cancer and the death of his two beloved dogs. Joel returned in 2021 to run for City Commissioner again with a new perspective on life, health, and the community he wanted to serve once more.

It was my task to build him a great WordPress website to rally his voter base and to tell his story of survival. His slogan was simple:

RESULTS

Joel’s website had everything he needed to run his campaign with confidence: great copy, a press section for interviews he had done with local newspapers, clear priorities, a bulleted history of his professional accomplishments and previous work, an easy-to-use donation box, and clear instructions about where to vote and how.

After Joel’s website was launched, he needed to freshen up his Facebook presence. I created some simple graphics for his profile, complete with a professional portrait.
